Bicycling is a great way to get where you are going and is the cleanest commute available. Whether you ride to the Park & Ride to join a carpool, or ride the the Park & Ride to hop on the bus, you are helping Delaware improve air quality and reduce traffic congestion. You benefit by exercising, reducing your transportation cost, and enjoying a refreshing bicycle ride!

The mission of the Delaware Department of Transportation Bicycle and Pedestrian Program is to develop programs that will encourage bicycling and walking as transportation options and help make bicycling and walking in Delaware safer and more convenient.

As part of this program and as a public service, the Delaware Department of Transportation Bicycle and Pedestrian Program and DART First State have installed high security bicycle parking lockers at the following Park & Rides:

  • DE Rts. 896 and 4
  • DE Rts. 273 and 7
  • DE Rts. 100 and 52
  • Prices Corner
  • Newark Train Station
  • Claymont Train Station
Agreement Options Include
  • 1-month term
  • 3-month term
  • 6-month term
Each term will require a $10.00 key deposit

It's Free! Here's How it Works...

  1. Call 800.652.DART for an agreement to secure a bike locker
  2. Return the completed agreement with your $10.00 key security deposit
  3. A copy of the agreement will be sent back to you, along with the locker assignment and key
  4. Lockers will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. If a locker is not available, your name will be placed on a waiting list
