THIS YEAR'S THEME: "Transit vs. Driving, Why Transit is the Right Fit" With continuous growth of Delaware communities, DART wants to use the opportunity to inform and promote the advantages of using public transit. Increased awareness of Delaware's public transit system informs new and current customers that DART is and can be the Right Fit. Eligibility: Children in Grades 6 through 12.
Judging & Awards: DART First State will judge the entries for originality, theme presentation, and artistic quality. A First Place winner will be chosen from each grade and from those winners, a Grand Prize Winner will be selected. Winning entries will be announced by April 14, 2014. All winners will receive an award certificate and gifts from DART First State’s business partners. All entrants will receive a certificate of participation. All artwork becomes the property of DART First State and may be used in future advertising or promotional materials with appropriate credit to the artist.
